The history of Mellerware can be traced back to a garage in 1950’s England. This was where current MD, Justin Mellaware’s Grandfather began selling 2 distinct types of kettles after which he made his way to South Africa in 1984, with a host of imported electric kettles. It’s been 27 years of business and three Mellerware generations later and the company has certainly moved out of the garage and into the big time. With local manufacturing, importing and exporting departments along with unlimited access to the international appliance market, one can see why so many South African’s choose to buy Mellerware.
