How do I redeem my promotional or gift voucher?
To redeem your voucher directly during the checkout process, just enter your code into the voucher field found in the third step of checkout.
After entering the code - consisting of both letters and numbers - click the Redeem button. The sum of the voucher will be automatically subtracted from the total value of your purchase.
If you have a gift voucher (coming soon!), you can also redeem it in the My Account section, under the My Vouchers tab. The sum of your gift voucher will then be credited to your account balance ready for your purchase.

Conditions of voucher use
Promotional Vouchers
For vouchers from campaigns in our newsletter:
- Only one voucher is redeemable per order; however, you may combine promotional vouchers with gift voucher payments
- Vouchers have a limited period of validity
- Vouchers may not be redeemable against discounted items
- Vouchers may only be valid for particular brands and categories relevant to the campaign
- Vouchers may have a minimum order value
- Vouchers can only be used once
- In the case that you return your item, your voucher’s validity will not be renewed
- Unfortunately it is not possible to redeem your discount voucher retrospectively
Gift vouchers
Vouchers bought through the 5rooms.com site:
- Subject to all applicable South African legislation, Gift Vouchers ("GV’s") expire on the date marked on the voucher, or where no date is marked are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
- GV’s can only be redeemed for products and services purchasable through the 5Rooms.com website,http://www.5rooms.com/
- When making an order, you must be over 18 years of age, possess a valid credit or debit card and register for an account on the website. Only payments with South African or European cards will be accepted on 5rooms.com
- GV’s are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
- Only one gift voucher can be used per order.
- The original expiration date will apply to any unused balance of GV’s but is not transferable to any other person or refundable for cash.
- Unused GV balance may be redeemed for additional GV’s with the value of the unused GV balance by contacting our customer care team on care@5rooms.com.
- If your order exceeds the amount of your GV, you must pay for the balance with a valid and accepted credit card, via EFT or via Cash On Delivery (where applicable).
- GV’s and their use on the 5Rooms.com website are subject to the 5Rooms.com General Terms of Use. Seehttp://www.5rooms.com/terms-and-conditions/ for more information.
- 5Rooms.com is not responsible if a GV is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
- 5Rooms.com reserves the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained GV is either redeemed and used on the 5Rooms.com website.
Groupon vouchers

Redemption:
If you have purchased a 5rooms voucher through Groupon, you will receive an email from them containing your voucher and security codes. To redeem your voucher, simply enter the voucher code in the voucher field found in the third step of checkout. The security code does not need to be given here. It is only possible to redeem vouchers during the ordering/payment process. Additional or subsequent vouchers are unfortunately not possible.

Returns:
5rooms will accept returns within 14 days after the item has been received. Should you wish to return products bought with a Groupon voucher, and the total value of the purchase exceeded the voucher value, we will reimburse you the money spent in excess of the voucher and a new voucher code equal to the residual value of your order. For example, if you use a R500 Groupon voucher as a co-payment to buy a chair worth R400 and a lamp worth R300, then if you decide to return the lamp you will be reimbursed R200 to your card and will be given a new voucher worth R100. For the new voucher with the remaining value, the same conditions apply as for the original voucher.

Groupon and Cancellation:
Should you cancel your order, your voucher will be reactivated. You will receive the valid voucher code with the confirmation of cancellation via e-mail.

Groupon Part-cancellation:
In exceptional cases, the item you ordered may not be available. If this occurs, we will send you an email to let you know. As in the case of a return, you will first be reimbursed any money spent on the order in excess of your voucher, and then any residual value will be reimbursed in the form of a new voucher code.

With a gift voucher, you also have the option to redeem it in advance. To do so, simply enter the code into the voucher field on the page My Vouchers, which you will find in the My Account section of the website. The sum of your gift voucher will then be credited to your account balance ready for your next purchase.
